Hello, I am Lars Zimmermann, born 1966 and father of three wonderful children. Sometimes I tell people that I come from the steam engine era in mechanical engineering. As a curious graduate engineer I am now working as a sales/smart coach. If you would like to know more, just have a look at www.kommunikationsoptimieren.de
Well, what is my concern? Six years ago I started to deal with digitalisation in great detail. I am simply fascinated by the question: What new values can we tap into through digitization? My passion is modern mechanical and plant engineering. The general studies on digitization have been very productive so far, so I would now like to devote more time to my English language skills. Therefore I am looking for you! Who are you? English is your beloved mother tongue - but it is not a must. Maybe you feel the same way as I did six years ago with the digitalization? You would also like to get a better understanding of what this means for the technical world in general and in particular? I'd like to help you with that and you, in return, help me with my somewhat too rough English, so that it will flow better in the near future - maybe just like with digitalization. Three years ago I created a groundbreaking app called Nutzen-Kompass, which won an IT innovation prize in the category "APP" in 2018. www.nutzen-kompass.de www.valuecompassapp.com
In short: Are you interested in chatting with me once a week via Skype after work for an hour about digitalization, God and the world or other witty things in English? Just contact me if you are interested! In the past you would have said: I am looking for a pen pal. #DigitalTalkFriend
PS In my attempt to find clarity on word usage, I have noticed that in the English-speaking world a distinction is made between "digitization" and "digitalization". What is the difference? I am curious to hear it from you.
